hey there !

I know it's been awhile since I blogged about my last post.
Have been so caught up with events lately I have no time to blog at all.
With Monin practices and assessments and internship things to settle going on and on and on,
it's a wonder how some people are still hyper everyday.

For the past two weeks I've been having practices and practices and more practices on perfecting my drink for the competition. Then there's the final assessments coming up too.

Went up to Broga Hill one day during a weekday and managed to come back in time for classes too.
Almost got caught up with a disciplinary problem when we had a miscommunication when we had to skip practical class for pre-judge tasting.
Followed by trips to KL and Cheras and Hoofed and Taman Tun.
And then a recent trip up Genting for some fresh air and then back down to Trop mall for a night movie.

It's one after another. And things are getting so much more exciting.
Pictures will be up soon though once I retrieve them.

Went de-stress shopping today after an extremely long week.

And I'm sure that week is not ending soon !

Was a little disappointed because I actually wanted a nude suede pump.

But of course, good shoes don't sit on their shelve for too long.

Had relatives coming over from Penang. 

Didn't spend saturday with them but I did spend Sunday with them before they left. 

So what did I do at college on a saturday?

Was there fully clad in uniform for a photoshoot.

Not the model fabulous-ish kind of photoshoot, but more of a text book one.

Hey, at least the younger generation will know that's me !

another crazy weekend

I just came back from shah alam. Yes, went looking at the new house again.

It's always a routine now and then to go to shah alam and look at the new house.

Dad is waiting for the tenant to move out so he could start renovating the house. 

I WANT MY PETER PAN WINDOWS.   :)

Anyway, done with Malaysian Studies report. 

Room division finals tomorrow. And the mini flairing competition.

I'm bored. and assessments are crazy.

It's ongoing all the time and there is no break in between.

Still excited for Monday. 

Can't want to start getting down to mixing drinks.

Mermaids and pigs

Hello people !

Just came back from Hoofed in Taman Tun.

And I swear their pork is shooo awesome !

Had drinks with Mr Patrick and Shawn the bartender regarding Monin Cup.

Desperately need a direction to move towards for researching.

Finally feeling excited and a good feeling is coming over.

Watched Pirates of the Caribbean yesterday and it was so frigging awesome.

Especially loves the part where the mermaid comes in. 

I am still so astounded by her beauty. It's like they were born to be mermaids.

AHHH ! So pretty.

It's to die for. 

I love the blonde haired one. 

She was the first mermaid to appear.

And she spoke with her sultry voice to the sailor.

And then she sang...

OMG

I wanna be a mermaid now.   :)

Well... until the part before the opened her mouth with the fangs.

It's like her jaw stretched out and her teeth grew.

That was pretty scary.

This girl was pretty too. 

Until she opened her mouth and hissed. 

hahaa. scary sial.

The part where the christian boy fell in love with the carnivorous mermaid.

Bottle Flaring

Flaring.

One of the most amazing tricks and juggling entertainment I've seen.

Juggling GLASS bottle in the air with only two hands.

And the things people can do with just plain glass bottles.

Pictures below are basically what flaring is for those who don't know.

Yes, I'm dead beat and I just came back from a three hours flaring session.

We did nothing but throw bottles around all night.

And the experience was so amazing. 

Life is honestly getting more and more exciting for me. 

This whole week has been piled up with activities, I hope I can keep up with all my work.

I'm trying to expose myself to so many new things.

Trying to open up my world, trying to learn and learn and learn.

Because I don't want to be the old me anymore.

I don't want to be afraid of everything.

And I don't want to be afraid of my past anymore.

The next time I see my past flash before, I'll smile and say: ITS TOO BAD YOU CANT KEEP UP.

Assessments tomorrow. Dinner at Hoof tomorrow. 

Awesome term ever ! 

not just another briefing

I have so much to rant about right now.

I've had barely enough sleep for the past few days and right now I'm as cranky as hell.

Just came back from my service class and got reprimanded like hell by the lecturer.
I can't say it's his fault, neither can I fully take the blame.
But what he said had hurt a little.
I was always telling myself that I can do better.
Constantly pushing myself to learn from my mistakes, and to be stronger.
Forever reminding myself that I can do great things, if only I would walk towards it.

Still I can't say I'm perfect. Though I try my best to aim for the top.
I can still do great thing, if only I was stronger.

Sometimes, they give me credit for what sounds like another me.
Compliments come and go, but I could never take them.
I've always humbled myself, willing to watch and listen in silence.
Always stepping out of the way for someone else to shine.

But now it's all different. I'm trying to stand up taller.
I'm trying to fight for my own words, and my own thoughts.
I am trying so hard to become the lion, a metamorphosis from the frightened cat who stood in no one's way.

Life's becoming different. And all the opportunities are being thrown at me.
Now, it's all up to me whether I would pick them up or not.

He says I'm always so disobedient.
He picks on the smallest mistake I make.
He points me out and tell me I'm wrong.
And he never looks up to me.

I know what I can do.
I know what I can achieve in a foreign environment.
I know the people, and their sly ways.
And I know the right path to choose.

I choose now to better myself.
To fight for what I deserve.
And I don't have to prove to anyone what I can do.
Because if I can do it, then it'll shine through.
